Have you been longing to get your hands on an authentic Alaskan Ulu knife? Slicing, chopping, and skinning with ease... this traditional, large ULU knife has been used for centuries by native Alaskans.

You can't go wrong with this stylish knife. No more painstakingly mincing herbs and slicing carrots... with the roll of your wrist, you let this ulu knife do the work. Occasionally referred to as a mezzaluna knife, this Alaskan skinning knife is known around the world for its' versatility.

Manufactured in Anchorage, Alaska by The ULU Factory, this slicing, dicing knife is up to any task.

Here's why we think these knives are SHARP:

  • All USA products are used to manufacture this ulu knife.
  • American, stainless steel blade and sturdy birch handle means it is built to LAST.
  • Ulu comes with a matching birch stand to display the knife on your kitchen counter.
  • Large, 6 inch blade with comfortable wood handle makes this an all-purpose knife.
  • Razor sharp edge can slice through anything. Traditionally used for skinning, ulu knives are still used to fillet salmon during salmon season.
  • Gorgeous etching on the birch handle leaves no doubt this is an AUTHENTIC ULU.
  • Attention to detail is given at The Ulu Factory as they have been carefully crafting Ulu knives for over fifty years!
  • Handwashing required to retain the sharpness of the blade and maintain the integrity of the genuine wood handle.

Want to REALLY upgrade your slicing and dicing game? Purchase the Ulu knife WITH Chopping bowl.

This chopping bowl is crafted from high quality birch and walnut, creating a unique striped design. At 1.5 inches thick, this chopping bowl measures 8 inches square. Mince herbs and slice within the confines of this board that has been contoured specifically to fit this ulu knife. Flip the bowl over and use the backside of the chopping block as a small cutting board.

This customer favorite makes a unique Christmas or birthday gift!

Helpful for Arthritic Hands

My new Alaska Cutlery Ulu Knife is great for cutting vegetables and fruits. My arthritic hands would get sore every time I used a regular knife. This does the trick. I’ve used it to chop carrots, celery, squash, broccoli, potatoes, and even to slice papaya. I would recommend this Ulu Knife highly to anyone with hand weakness or arthritis.
