Q: What is the best material for trivets?

A: Cork, Rubber, and Silicone all are effective at blocking heat transfer. These metal hot pads feature an insulated interior and rubber backing to protect counters from heat damage.

Q: Can you put a hot pan on a countertop?

A: You may if you have quartz or granite. However, this can cause discoloration over time. We recommend using a trivet underneath hot pans.

Q: Are metal trivets better than silicone coffee maker mats?

A: Yes. These textured trivets are designed to resist heat while the standard coffee bar mat is not designed to protect from heat damage.

Q: Can these heat resistant mats be cut to size?

A: No. As these are made from metal, cutting them would result in sharp edges being exposed. However, they come in several sizes to fit various spaces.

We ship all orders from our store in Muskegon, Michigan. Most products ship out within 1-2 business days from purchase. Tracking information will be emailed to you when your order ships.

Orders over $49 ship free. Orders less than $49 have a shipping and handling charge of $4.99 to help cover some of the cost of packaging and shipping. This allows us to continue offering low priced products at a reasonable price.

1. To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging.

2. Returns must be shipped back within 30 days of delivery.

3. Returns that do not adhere to rules 1 and 2 MAY be given a partial refund depending on product condition and return timing.

4. Customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. If your product has arrived damaged from Shipping or has a manufacturing defect, we may choose to provide a pre-paid return label or send a replacement item.

Love this counter protector

I had been searching for this counter protector for a while to replace one I purchased several years ago from Walmart. I was pleasantly surprised the quality of this Kooi Kitchens product was much better than the one i was replacing. The price was great and delivery was prompt. My only disappointment was there was only one in stock and last time I checked they were still out of stock.
