1. To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging.

2. Returns must be shipped back within 30 days of delivery.

3. Returns that do not adhere to rules 1 and 2 MAY be given a partial refund depending on product condition and return timing.

4. Customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. If your product has arrived damaged from Shipping or has a manufacturing defect, we may choose to provide a pre-paid return label or send a replacement item.

After trying 4 of the aluminum mandolines including stainless steel ones recommended by very well known entities. They were all terrible. Unstable and a danger. This OXO is a delight to use. Do yourself a favor, if you need a mandoline get this one.

It delivers what it claims, almost perfectly

Ive come to trust OXO products, because they do what they claim to. This V-Slicer is all plastic, but its sufficiently durable to hold up under full pressure slicing. The thickness settings are consistent and accurate. The slicing action is smooth and effortless. The trough is wide enough for large heirloom tomatoes. My first use was for 1/8 thick cross-sliced shallots and russet potatoes in a scalloped potato au gratin. Wow! went so fast. The V shape cuts clean on the trailing edge of the vegetablesthere is no debris left behind. I was able to simply rinse it off under the faucet and set it in the drain-rack. Only negative isnt very negative, but: the hand held protector-holder gripper-guider is only questionably useful. Its in the category of, you cant slice much with it, but you cant get hurt trying. I didnt use it and did just fine by being careful. BUT! BE CAREFUL because the slicer really works beautifully!

Made quick work of a tedious task

Needed to prepare for a large picnic with 30+ people. Can't have burgers without onions and tomatoes, but I was not willing to put in the work to slice all that by hand. Decided to give this a try. I was impressed with the quality, liked the onboard storage of blades, and the quick thickness dial is great. Made quick work of the onions and tomatoes and everyone was happy!

Its a good mandolin with several features.

I like OXO products and I felt this product met the expectations of this brand. There are a few things that I like about this slicer. It folds down for storage, the rubber feet keep it in place while youre using it, it has different slicing settings and alternate blades that pop in and out, and it comes apart for easy cleaning. Once you get the hang of it, it produces nice uniform slices . I do wish it also sliced a 1/2 inch thickness instead of stopping at 1/4 inch. The food holder can be a little slippery if you are wearing cutting gloves, and it would be nice if there were protective sides on the holder like other brands. Overall, I like this product and like many of the other OXO items I have, I hope this one lasts a long time.

Never knew how much I needed a Mandoline

Looked at a number of Mandolins on Amazon and decided on Oxo based on good experiences with other products. It has quite a few blade options but I mostly end up using the normal blade to slice veggies. Works great. Did take me a few times to learn how to avoid the very sharp blade. Easy to take apart and clean the blade and rest of the tool.
