Reads the temperature quickly.

I tested this against my current temperature probe and they both read exactly the same. But this one read the temperature much more quickly. I love a long stem temperature probe especially for candy making. Definitely recommend!

Measures quickly and accurately

This meat thermometer works great for quickly checking the temperature of food. I made a pork tenderloin in the oven recently, and the thermometer was perfect for checking the internal temperature of the pork to ensure it was cooked enough. The long stem of the thermometer helps with kitchen safety so my hands do not have to get close to burning on the oven racks, grill grates, or hot pans/trays. The thermometer quickly reads the temperatures so that I do not have to have the oven doors open longer than I want.

Everyone needs a good Meat Thermometer

With the Holliday's around the corner everyone that cook's can use a good meat and candy thermometer or candlemaker's. My other half is the cook and she tested this one in her Chicken stew that she was making in the Crockpot and it was spot on. This uses a watch battery that should last a long time. There is not much to these things after inserting the battery. You press a button probe the meat the[ Temperature reading is in F ]and then when you get a reading you hit the power button to turn it off. It's also easy to clean.
