We wouldn't suggest it. Foil can trap heat or melt which could damage the product or be a fire hazard.

Great to protect your range top

Love these drip pans, especially for protection of the range top area. One of the major issues that I have with it though is that if you do not clean it immediately after getting something on it, it can take awhile to clean and does not always come out well. Drippings left to bake on the pans will tend to rust the pan as well. So, a very good tip would be to make sure to clean it after every use. This way it will stay nicer and more functional, longer.
