Lovely - shakes salt sparingly

This is a beautiful salt shaker: well made and of nice wood. and matches the random pepper grinder I've had for years. I have two comments to make:

1) the holes are small and I'm using regular, iodized table salt, so be prepared to shake several extra times if you like more than a pinch!

2) The bottom of the canister has a silicone plug for refilling, which is all well and good except that you have to turn the shaker upside down to refill the salt. The salt then spills out through the holes, albeit slowly (see note above). I would recommend to the company that they redesign the shaker to have a screw top opening, which can easily be concealed in the lines of the aesthetic design and is much more practical and user-friendly.

Other than that, a lovely, decorative, and purposeful salt shaker!

Beautiful and Perfect

This salt shaker has served me very well so far. It looks better in person than it does in the picture. This salt shaker is the perfect balance of quality and value. Go for it!
