Somehow I'm on my third garlic press in 3 years. I lost my first one to my garbage disposal, which I take full credit for. But the second one, slowly broke from what I would consider "normal" use. It was much more "substantial" looking than this one, so I thought it'd hold up for awhile, but I also had to press REALLY hard to punch the garlic through. This one felt rather flimsy in my hand when I took it out of the package, but I was pleasantly surprised to find I don't need to push very hard to get the garlic through the press. The little cleaning tool also helps when it comes time to wash. I'm hoping this one lasts at least a year, but so far, I have a good feeling!
