Even the best cut bacon can curl, making it difficult to cook evenly. Our Cast Iron Grill Press flattens the bacon, keeping its shape for even cooking.

Features a wooden handle that stays cool to the touch.

Ideal for bacon, ham, grilled sandwiches, hamburgers and quesadillas. Or use as a steak weight! In a skillet on the stovetop or outside on the grill!

Includes instructions for seasoning before use, cleaning and storage.

Hand wash, rinse thoroughly and dry with a paper towel - never soak cast iron.

Always wanted one

I have always wanted a bacon press. My grandmother used to have one but my greedy aunt took it when she passed knowing it was supposed to go to me. I used to cook bacon in the microwave but started cooking it on my electric griddle and I prefer the taste of the latter. The only problem was that my bacon would curl. This has solved the problem and now my bacon cooks evenly. My only wish is that I had ordered a larger one as I cook multiple slices at one time and this doesn't cover many slices. I just line everything up and move the press around and it works just fine. Highly recommend this product.

Good item

Looked high and low. Happy now

Works well but is hard to clean

The bacon press works well and keeps the bacon flat while cooking so it's cooked evenly. It also works for breakfast sausage patties and burgers, too. But the little pig imprint makes it very hard to clean. Even though it's cast iron (and most people don't wash cast iron), I don't like the leftover bacon grease that gets lodged in the crevices. I'm going to try a stiff brush because using a wet sponge doesn't clean it out.
