Norpro Poultry Shears

These are well built. I expect that they will be in use for a long time. Sharp enough to cut paper, tough enough to cut pretty much anything else.

Stainless steel, and heavy, it lays well in one's hand when cutting fowl bones. The blades are of good length to even work on Turkey. It will last longer than my generation, if it is handled and taken care of correctly. Best bang for the buck, to be sure!

The density of the metal is very good. These seem to be well-made; thick, sharp, stainless steel. The look is very similar to other stainless cutlery I've used or seen. While I have not used them yet, they seem to be worth every penny paid.

Fairly easy to use. Well made and quite sharp. Just wish the handles were a little larger or were perhaps more ergonomically designed.

If you prepare a lot of poultry in many different ways as I do then these Poultry Shears are a must for your kitchen. Often I prepare a whole chicken on the rotisserie but the times that I prefer to marinate chicken parts is the time that this unit is most useful. It is heavy duty, does the job quickly and easy to clean.
