I've been trying to get away from single use plastic bags and these storage boxes are superior in every way. Completely air tight, easy to see contents and dishwasher safe. Handy space on the lid to write in a date or note about contents. I now have several in different sizes and will likely get more. The plastic cheese storage bags are hard to seal and can get tears as well as being tedious to wash and dry between uses. It feels great to reuse these storage boxes and this about the many plastic bags I am *not* using. I plan to give these as gifts, too. The planet and I thank you.

I waited a while before I wrote this review because a lot of people said the clip broke. I’ve had it for almost a year and it still works great. Since it’s airtight the latch is pretty tight so you have to finagle a bit to get it open. I think if you trying forcing it open it will break. I’m gentle with mine and it’s still fine a year later. I use it to store my Parmesan which I cut in small chunks and it keeps pretty fresh for a month or more. It’s a little small but they probably have a larger one available if you need it

Such a nice sturdy little container. Tight seal. Easy to clean. You won't regret getting one or two. Or seven.
