Sharp but thin steel.

Very sharp, but blades are super thin. In time these will break. Culinary knives are thicker steel for this reason. They are good so far but I would not have bought 2 sets had I seen the thickness first. I have young adults cooking and myself lol, they are doomed knives. But they are marvelously sharp. Do not dishwash!! Tarnishes steel coating on handles!! Darn kids lol.
